This policy explains what information Phil's Magic Cleaning collects through philsmagicclean.com, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it short, and we only describe what the site actually does.

Who we are

Phil's Magic Cleaning is a window cleaning and commercial janitorial business serving the Peninsula, based in Burlingame, California. Questions about this policy: philsmagicwindowcleaning@gmail.com or (650) 660-0430.

What we collect

When you browse the site, our analytics and advertising tools collect:

the pages you view, how long you stay, and how you arrived (for example, from a Google search);
your device and browser type and your approximate location (city level, from your IP address);
whether you tap our phone number or click a “request a quote” button;
a random identifier stored in a cookie, so repeat visits can be counted.

When you request a quote, you fill out a form hosted by Jobber, the software we use to run our business. It asks for the details we need to quote and schedule your job, such as your name, phone number, email, service address and a description of the work.

When you call or text us, we receive your phone number and what you tell us.

We don't sell anything on this site, take payments here, offer accounts, run a newsletter, or send marketing texts.

How we use it

To answer your questions, prepare quotes, schedule and complete work, and follow up.
To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
To measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram.

Google (Google Analytics) measures how the site is used.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) measures our ads and helps us show them to people likely to need our services. Meta may connect a visit to a Facebook or Instagram account you're logged into.
Jobber stores quote requests and customer records for us.
Netlify hosts the site and keeps standard server logs.

Each company handles the information under its own privacy policy. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Cookies and how to opt out

The site uses cookies from Google Analytics and the Meta pixel. These tools run only on philsmagicclean.com; nothing else on the site uses cookies. You can:

block or delete cookies in your browser settings;
install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on;
manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the site doesn't load the Meta pixel. The site doesn't respond to the older “Do Not Track” setting, because there's no common standard for it.

How long we keep it

Website analytics: 14 months in Google Analytics.
Advertising data: under Meta's own retention rules.
Quote requests and customer records: for as long as you're a customer, and then up to seven years for business and tax records.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email philsmagicwindowcleaning@gmail.com or call (650) 660-0430, and we'll reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm it's you before we act. We won't treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is for adults arranging cleaning services. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

We use reputable providers and limit who can see customer information. No website or service is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information such as payment card numbers through the quote form or by text.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
